Here’s an overview of our most recently released feature now available in DynECT Email Delivery that manages the list-unsubscribe header.
List-Unsubscribe is a header that ISPs use to power simplified and universal unsubscribe methods within their mail products. This helps lower spam complaint rates and increase engagement for your mail programs.
To get this working, list-unsubscribe is a header that is placed in an email with a link and/or a mail-to option. DynECT Email Delivery is now equipped to independently manage these details and your list-unsubscribe header for you!
How it works
When utilizing Dyn for the list-unsubscribe header, all you’ll need to do is turn on the feature within your account and Dyn will automatically add a customized header to your outgoing mail. This header will include a link that can be directed to Dyn’s link tracking service and a mailto option that will be directed and parsed by DynECT Email Delivery’s incoming mail servers.
Dyn will then handle the collateral elements such as adding this recipient to your suppression list and even offers a postback service if you would like us to post this information back to your servers in near real time.
