With eight members of the team en route from MHT-LAS and several monitoring from back home, Dyn looks to maximize its Interop reach and further establish itself as an Infrastructure-as-as-Service brand with a new age twist
Interop Las Vegas brings some true nostalgia to the members of Dyn Representatives from Dyn have been attending Interop shows for nearly a decade, but it was at the 2009 Interop LV show where the company swarmed onto the enterprise infrastructure scene with the DynECT Platform for global managed DNS and traffic management.
Long known in technology enthusiast circles for the company’s free dynamic DNS service at DynDNS.com, Dyn began investing more heavily into its sales, business development, marketing and trade show efforts in 2009 to push its premium anycast DNS service, DynECT Platform. Interop Las Vegas, coming in early May last year served as a spring board for what turned out to be a year of record setting and barometer setting growth for the organization, that was incorporated in 2001. The event also was an introduction of sorts into Dyn’s adoption of a grass roots new media strategy that has helped to define it’s “work hard, play hard” culture and corporate disposition.
Without a doubt, this year will be even better. The company’s booth #853 is in a far more centralized location and will feature its DynViz traffic visualization tool once again. VP, Product Management, Cory Von Wallenstein and VP, Sales & Marketing, Kyle York will be presenting Wednesday, a session titled “Optimizing Your Infrastructure: Using Failover and Global Server Load Balancing to Speed Web Performance.” See more details here. Tuesday night, April 27th at the House of Blues on the casino floor of Mandalay Bay, treat yourselves to free drinks with Dyn at DynTini night http://dyntini.com. Also, grab yourself some infamous DynKoozies, DynBottleOpeners, DynPens and “DNS is Sexy” shirts from the latest DNS awareness and promotion campaign at http://dnsissexy.com. As you can see we’re fully vested in ensuring Interop Las Vegas 2010 is a big success. We hope to see you at Interop and continue to turn heads together.
