DynECT Platform Sales Double; Top-Name Clients Break Free and Join Dyn
MANCHESTER, NH – Dyn, the rapidly-growing DNS provider based in Manchester, NH, and its DynECT Platform announce record growth for the second quarter, citing superior technology and excellent customer service as well as the competition’s service troubles, including managed hosting and managed DNS outages and poor performance, as contributors to the company and product’s success.

Music Choice, StyleFeeder, Yum! Brands, AudienceScience, Bit.ly, Squarespace, Meetup.com, Teavana, and Wikia are just some of the clients who made the switch to the DynECT Platform in Q2’09. DynECT sales numbers more than doubled from the previous quarter, which also saw record growth, securing several hundred thousand dollars in recurring revenue for the company.

Q2 also brought a number of other positive changes for Dyn, including the DynDNS.com Spring Server VPS launch in Frankfurt, Germany. This Spring, Dyn Inc. kicked off its Break Free campaign at IRCE, urging prospective customers who feel trapped with their DNS provider to “break free” and go with the service that will not only meet their needs, but provide them with the never-wavering support Dyn continues to offer. Recently at the Telx Customer Business Exchange (CBX) 2009 event in New York, Dyn announced the formation of the Thought Leader Council (TLC), a prestigious group made up of Dyn customers who provide feedback and advice on the company’s technology and services and the future of the industry.
