Group Gathers to Share Insights on Infrastructure Services and Celebrate Dyn’s Grand Office Opening
Manchester, NH – August 18, 2011 – Dyn (formerly Dynamic Network Services Inc.), a world leader in managed DNS and email delivery, welcomes its Thought Leader Council (TLC), a diverse group of industry professionals and clients, to share perspectives on Internet Infrastructure-as-a-Service; how it helps them do their job, what additional problems it can solve and what future innovations would be relevant to their business.
This will be the first time the group (with members from around the world) assembles in person to discuss these initiatives. Dyn’s new corporate headquarters in Manchester, NH, will serve as the home base for the day of meetings.
The TLC was formed in 2009 – an initiative that grew out of Dyn’s desire to stay closely connected to enterprise clients and scale with them. It was initially dubbed a “sounding board and a launching pad.” Dyn has a strong focus on customer relationships and values feedback and insight to direct the future of its technology offerings and overall business growth.
“Dyn has remained committed to two core tenants since being founded in 1998: engineering excellence and superior customer service,” said VP of Sales and Marketing at Dyn, Kyle York. “Bringing together Dyn’s TLC members is the perfect way to ensure we are executing on both fronts.”
This week’s meeting is significant, not only because it will be the first time the group will meet face-to-face for more in-depth discussion, but also because it will take place at Dyn’s new 24,000 square foot headquarters, a location the company moved to due to unprecedented growth.
“That’s the great thing about Dyn,” York added. “We solve problems for our clients everyday and in turn, our close relationships help drive our business that much further. We’ve always been about locking arms and sharing in each others successes.”
Dyn’s TLC is made up of a diverse group of industry leaders from a range of Internet companies including Incutio, Fastly, Heroku, HomeAway, iovation, Eastern Mountain Sports, DataSong, The Echo Nest, Digitaria and WhippleHill.
“We were such an early customer when I was at 37signals that Dyn’s CTO Tom Daly was our sales guy,” said Mark Imbriaco, Senior Director Technology Operations at Salesforce.com. “I’m thrilled to still be working with them at Heroku – as part of the TLC – in helping guide the future of the company, the platform and of course DNS…which we all know is sexy.”
Dyn will be wrapping up the TLC meeting with the grand opening party at their new headquarters at 150 Dow, St. in Manchester, NH. Over 400 attendees are expected.
“This is a great opportunity to say thank you to our most supportive clients and share in our hard earned success with our family, friends and community,” said Tom Daly, Dyn President/CTO.
