Manchester, NH – With Dyn’s increased presence in the email space comes a greater responsibility to be involved in the email delivery community. Following Dyn’s acquisition of email services provider SendLabs nearly one year ago, the IaaS leader focused on scaling in the email space and building up its internal email infrastructure while expanding its internal team and increasing its presence in anti-spam organizations like MAAWG.
That’s why the company is proud to host and facilitate an Email Deliverability Summit for Thursday, December 1st at their Manchester headquarters, bringing together some of the biggest names in email delivery and the people that fuel their success: deliverability experts. The day-long session will feature some of the best in the business openly talking about industry issues, improvements, working with Internet Service Providers and plenty more.
“I’ve been in the email space for years and this is the first I’ve ever heard of something this unique for deliverability professionals,” Dyn Director of Deliverability Stephen Wheeler said. “To have this many power players in one room and focused on something that’s important to all of us is a pretty powerful thing.”
The idea for the Summit was hatched from the Inside Baseball DNS events Dyn helped facilitate that brought together industry competitors and leaders to talk about issues facing the DNS business. While some may assume that companies competing in the same space would be adverse with talking shop, attendance grew for Inside Baseball in its second year and the response for Thursday’s email event was exceedingly strong.
“There was a lot of buzz about the Deliverability Summit while we were in Paris for MAAWG’s October meeting,” Dyn Director of Email David Lemaire explained. “It came together quickly and we soon had people inquiring whether they could send additional people. We can’t wait for December 1st.”
Some of the companies that will be in attendance include SMTP.com, Constant Contact, Postmark, Hubspot and Mill33. Those heading to Manchester will strictly be on the deliverability side of the coin with no sales/marketing influence, so as to keep things focused on one subject. The intent was not to sell services, but to talk openly about the email delivery business and how everyone can win from upping the game with best practices to what’s next.
“It’s going to be a deliverability lover’s dream,” Wheeler said.
