Dyn Announces Official London, UK Office Opening

London, UK – June 22, 2011Dyn (formerly Dynamic Network Services Inc.) officially opens the doors of their London, England – UK office today, located in the West London area of Berkeley Square. This announcement marks Dyn’s second official office opening and their first outside of the United States. The company, whose corporate headquarters are located in Manchester, NH, USA, believes the office will help expand their global reach in the IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service) market, as well as better serve their existing European clients.

“Over the years, Dyn has expanded in all areas including number of clients, total employees, services offered and number of datacenter locations,” said Tom Daly, CTO at Dyn. “Some Dyn followers don’t realize that we have customers in over 200 countries and territories with 7.5% of our e-commerce clients from the UK, 2nd only to the US. It was an obvious choice for us to open a location in this great European hub, where we already have a datacenter.”

Currently, Dyn has nearly 60 UK-based clients including Bauer Media, Cloud Data, Crafty Clicks, Extravision, Greenpeace UK, Incutio, London Capital Group, Mediafed, Travel Republic, and the newest addition, Guardian News & Media.

“We are really excited to be working with Dyn. They have impressed us with their responsiveness and repeatedly demonstrated their technical expertise,” said Liz Sarginson, Head of Web Operations at Guardian News & Media. “Moving our data centre load balancing onto their service has been an easy sell to our business because they offer a well-engineered platform and flexible solution at a competitive cost.”

To lead their UK operation, Dyn has enlisted sales, marketing and technology veteran Phil Akilade, who will serve as UK Regional Director.

“I’m really excited about joining a company with an unusual cultural mix — a strong customer focus combined with one that is hugely professional from a technical engineering perspective,” he said.

Akilade brings a plethora of experience from companies such as IBM, Compuware, Computerwire and British Airways and is poised to introduce Dyn’s Internet Infrastructure services to all of the EMEA market.

“I’ve seen for myself how a customer focus fosters a spirit of entrepreneurship for implementing new ideas that ultimately provide better services for Dyn’s customers and creates an environment where our employees are encouraged to take risks on behalf of customers and enjoy what they do every day,” Akilade said. “As we open the new UK Regional Office, I’m looking forward to building relationships with many of the UK and European customers that have been using Dyn’s services over the last 10 years because they are the heritage of the company and our most important asset.”

The company looks forward to growing their UK office as well as further introducing their DynECT Email Delivery platform, alongside their DNS solutions, to the European market. For further information, please contact sales or visit
