Manchester, NH (October 17, 2013) – Dyn, the worldwide leader in Internet performance solutions, announced their third quarter (ending on Sept. 30, 2013) was one of the most successful in company history, as they closed more than $15 million USD in bookings and hired nearly 50 employees.
Bolstered by more than 340 new enterprise clients and 80,000 new self-service customers, Dyn saw an 18% growth in revenue over the second quarter of the same financial year.
“As a company, we have very ambitious growth goals,” said Josh Delisle, Dyn VP of Worldwide Sales. “Through a lot of hustle from every member of our organization, we’ve been reaching those goals and exceeding them. But, while we have had a great quarter, we’re even more excited about how we’re going to close out this year.”
Growth, however, was not limited to revenue and customer acquisition as 41 total new employees were hired in both their Manchester, NH, headquarters and Brighton, England, office.
Many of these additions were major engineering and technical talents such as Chief Architect Matt Larson, the former Vice President of Research at Verisign and Director of Verisign Labs.
A few of the stars joining Larson are Nate Meyer as Director of Traffic Management Product, Alex Howells as Director of Network Services, Alex Kasyanov as Director of Web Development, and Mike Kemp as Director of Platform Engineering.
On the sales and business operations front, two new VPs joined the team in Matt Engel, VP of Business Development, and Dave Allen, VP, Legal.
Paul Heywood, formerly Head of New Business at Claranet Limited, joined Team Dyn as the EMEA Sales Director and Clint Miller, formerly VP of Sales at ProfitBricks, came on as Director of Enterprise Sales. Larry Concannon also joined as Director of Product Marketing.
