Manchester, NH — Dyn, the worldwide Internet Infrastructure-as-a-Service leader, has taken some major steps in the past month to further bolster their fast-growing email delivery department, adding some of the top technology talent in New Hampshire to its strong engineering team.
The company recently hired David Lemaire as their new Director of Email. Lemaire was a mainstay at Eastern Mountain Sports (EMS) as their Director, Information Technology Services, focusing on improving operational processes, audits and regulation compliance/governance while working on the business side to help educate others in the organization on IT challenges and resources. Lemaire also worked at a dot.com startup and an Internet Service Provider before landing at EMS, making his experience diverse from both the vendor and client sides of the business landscape.
“As a former member of the Dyn Thought Leader Council, we couldn’t be happier about Dave joining the team to work on DynECT Email Delivery,” said Cory von Wallenstein, Dyn VP of Engineering. “He will be responsible for stability, scalability, growth and development of our enterprise email delivery platform and email service suite. We’ve built up a great relationship with Dave as a client of ours for the past two and a half years. He’s a great addition to our evolving leadership team.”
That team has seen some additional key hires recently in Michael Veilleux, George “Gaf” Fitch and Dan Couture. Veilleux focuses on the front end and delivery metrics of Dyn’s Email Delivery and Email Delivery Lite platforms, while Fitch helps manage the technical implementation and automation on the back end systems and processes. Couture is an application developer with a flair for statistical analysis.
Those four join an established team that includes Director of Deliverability Stephen Wheeler and lead developers Erik Bertrand, John Norton and Tony Adinolfi — all of whom came over in Dyn’s December 2010 acquisition of email services company SendLabs.
The entire email team is contributing to the fastest-growing service offering in Dyn’s decade-plus history – enterprise email delivery with administration, customer experience and scalability packaged into an efficient and highly successful service offering.
