Culture-Con is not like a lot of conferences where you show up to listen to a writer or consultant tell you about an interesting case study or two. That would be too easy. Instead, this one-day event is all about bringing people and companies together to share ideas and discuss the challenges and successes we’re experiencing.
The importance of a strong company culture, and the effect it has on employee morale, is gaining steam across the country. While that mentality is very popular within tech companies, one of the goals of Culture-Con is to bring this way of thinking to the mainstream.
We don’t have all the answers. But we do know which questions to ask.
Our panel (including speakers from not only our sponsor companies but Dyn client Box) will discuss how to design and maintain an engaging culture in a fast growth environment. This is a great topic because it is one thing to develop a cool culture for your startup but it is another challenge entirely to scale it as your company grows.
Here’s a few of the other topics we’ll talk about in our breakouts:
- Leading with a vision and mission
- How to make transparency/open communication part of your culture
- Understanding the tribes within your organization
- How to measure employee engagement (and how NOT to do it)
- Recruiting and selecting culture fits for your organization
All of the companies involved believe that our employees are our most valuable asset. We believe that investing in our people is a key ingredient in the recipe for growth and success. We have a great list of attendees that share this belief and we look forward to learning and sharing with them.
If you are in the Bay Area, we’d love to have you join us. We have limited spots still available to sit alongside and contribute with some of the biggest web brands on the Internet. See you in San Fran!
