Culture-Con: What It Is, Why We’re Doing It, Why You Should Come

After being named a “Best Company” for four straight years, Dyn recently entered Business NH Magazine’s Hall of Fame for best places to work and also were named one of Inc. Magazine’s top workplaces in 2011, But while awards are great, we’re more interested in sharing ideas to create and maintain a unique culture both here and with fellow New Hampshire companies and beyond.

With that in mind, we’re hosting our first-ever Culture-Con on January 31st at our Manchester, NH headquarters — an event designed to help companies of all sizes that are looking to improve their culture and get insight into how to do just that.

What Is It?

Culture-Con will go beyond the discussion of cool benefits and focus on culture architecture. Instead of talking about what a company does for its employees, we want to focus on the why. We want to talk strategy and we want to talk goals because what works for one place might not work for another.

An important note is that although Dyn is hosting this event, it’s not all about us. We’re excited to be working on this unique event in tandem with NH locals Bob Faw and Michael McCann of the Matchbox Group. They’ve worked with a number of companies around the globe as agents of positive change, helping those companies inspire their employees during times of growth or change.

We’re also excited to have Donavon Roberson of OOBE joining us as our keynote speaker. Donavon previously worked at Managed DNS client Zappos in their Zappos Insights group. In this role, Donavon has worked with a number of organizations dedicated to creating or improving inspiring company cultures.

In addition, we have a great media partner in Business NH Magazine, who are hosting their annual Breakfast With The Best event that morning. We invite everyone to start their day with this kickoff in tandem with Culture-Con.

Who should attend Culture-Con?

The goal is to have executives and HR pros in attendance, but if you are responsible for influencing or implementing changes in company culture or employee benefits and share the belief that a happy workforce makes for a successful business, we want you here.

What’s the schedule like?

The day runs from 11 AM EST – 4 PM EST with Donovan’s keynote, a networking lunch, a panel discussion, breakout sessions and more. Here’s a full schedule if you want the hour-by-hour breakdown.

For all of this greatness, Culture-Con costs just $35 per person. Space is limited to allow for more one-on-one opportunities and so everyone can leave that day feeling like they can go back to their company with a slew of ideas, thoughts and new insight. This is going to be a unique day and we’re excited to partner with the Matchbox Group and BusinessNH Magazine to help bring it to you.
