Being on the East Coast, we understand what a devastating storm Sandy was. However, New Hampshire was relatively unscathed compared to our clients, customers, friends and families down in New York, New Jersey and the Mid-Atlantic states.
That’s why I was stoked to hear that we are powering the uptime for the online donation part of Wednesday’s massive 12.12.12 Concert, a benefit concert to help those affected by Sandy and powered by The Robin Hood Relief Fund.
Here’s all the details on who’s playing, how to watch and most importantly, how you can donate.
The show will be at New York’s Madison Square Garden and is set to kick off at 7:30 PM Eastern, featuring a who’s who of music stars like The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, The Who, Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam, Alicia Keys, Kanye West, The Black Keys, Bon Jovi, Coldplay’s Chris Martin and plenty more.
How To Watch
All kinds of stations will be airing the benefit, available to 2 billion people worldwide. AMC, HBO, ION TV, Fuse, G4 and more will be airing the show in addition to a slew of streaming options or viewing parties in select theatres in the NY/NJ region. Seriously, I could list all the ways you can check the show here, but then you’d miss the actual show. Here’s the full list.
How To Donate
Let’s get to the key element here: getting your credit card or smartphone out to help out. You can text ROBINHOOD to 50555 to donate $10, you can use the Shazam app to donate, you can buy a friend a 121212 gift via Facebook which will donate $25 to the cause and there are plenty of other ways.
Of course, we are powering the Robin Hood donation page so for every bit of money collected there, we’ll take pride in knowing that we’re helping a great cause.
Join Dyn and DynCares in supporting the #121212Concert in any way you can.
