DNSCog – A Free DNS Report Tool

That's where DNSCog, the DNS report tool from Dyn Inc. comes in. DNSCog was originally called “DNS Check” while in the labs, but graduated in March 2009 with a whole new look. With DNSCog, we will run a number of tests on your domain and provide you with an in-depth report, diagnosing any issues and offer recommendations to improve your results.

Don't need an in-depth DNS report? With DNSCog you can also run basic DNS lookups, traceroutes to your hostnames, and even check the WHOIS for your domain. You can run any of these tests which include nameserver/DNS tests, SOA tests, check and test DNSSEC, examine MX records and email settings..
