Founding the DynDNS.com Community
As a “home grown” company, we owe our success to our fast-growing base of loyal users. If you’ve visited us on our Website, Blog, Twitter, Facebook, Flicker, YouTube (you get the idea), you know that we pride ourselves on full transparency — letting you know what we are up to and working on at all times.
To make sure the conversation is working in both directions, we’d like to give our audience of technology aficionados a place to share experiences and learn how to get the most from their home networks. For everything from the latest and greatest DVRs, network cameras and music streaming tools to the best ways to share your photo galleries and blogs from your home computer — we want you to share your best uses with us, and help shape what’s to come.
We’re looking for the elite of the elite in our community to help us shape the future and to join as a Founding Member of the new DynDNS.com Community Site. Think you’re geeky enough for the task? Email lsmart@dyn.com or Tweet us @DynInc and tell us why. Not only will you help shape the DynDNS Community, but users with exciting use cases will have the opportunity to be featured in an upcoming Case Study. Reach out today for more information on how to get involved.
Dyn Goes to Work with the Dynect Platform
In the past couple months we hope you have taken note of our latest and greatest product launches such as the Dynect Platform’s CDN Manager. However, we have also been taking our own notes and realize in our excitement over launching these high level solutions, we may have left some of you scratching your heads and wondering, what is the Dynect Platform anyway?
For those who aren’t familiar, the Dynect Platform is just like DynDNS, except all grown up! Years back we started seeing increased demand from DynDNS users who were currently using us for their businesses but wanted more. Out of that demand, Dyn Inc. decided to create an even more robust DNS platform and offering that caters specifically to the Corporation or Enterprise client.
Now in its 2nd year of full use, the Dynect platform has been able to offer businesses the next level in managed anycast DNS services, with products and features such as; Active Failover, Round Robin Load Balancing, Traffic Management, CDN Manager, SOAP API, Access Control Lists, 12 global facilities and more. Dynect clients such as; Twitter, Squarespace, Zappos, HomeAway, Yum! Brands, Wikia, Restaurant.com and many more, use these offerings to minimize downtime, eliminate overhead, secure data and cut down infrastructure costs.
