Gray Chynoweth takes on ICANN 37 in Nairobi, Kenya (Video Blog)

03.11.2010 By

This past week, our team from Dyn Inc., in collaboration with CircleID, has been bringing you a timely video blog with updates from ICANN 37 in Nairobi, Kenya (March 7-12, 2010). This is not the first time that Gray Chynoweth, our GC & VP, Business Operations, has traveled the globe in support of ICANN, but this is certainly the best video blog we’ve ever delivered.

This weeks coverage has been the most viewed of the four ICANN meetings we’ve covered, in response to, and mostly due to travel security concerns in Nairobi. Hopefully the large congregation of ICANN members that unified down in Virginia at Neustar Headquarters found the updates of even greater value then our past efforts.

We are happy to report that Gray is doing well and is quite safe in Nairobi, even climbing Mount Kilimanjaro last week (“Beards. They grow on you.”) with a group of Internet professionals to raise money for clean water in Africa. Check out http://kili2010.com to learn more. Pretty impressive!

Coverage of past ICANN meetings:
ICANN 36 in Seoul, South Korea
ICANN 35 in Sydney, Australia
ICANN 34 in Mexico City

We’d like to give a special thanks to our video team of Tyler and Arnold. Your hard work and crazy hours are well appreciated and with each ICANN the quality and timeliness improves. It’s not easy doing work when @graychy is in crazy different time zones. Arnold, you killed that intro/outro and proudly showcased your African roots! Well done; the compliments are rolling in.
