Dyn continues to take its show on the road this week to further our assault on the Internet tradeshow circuit.
Two Dyn contingents jumped aboard Southwest flights yesterday and this morning en route to Portland, OR and Austin, TX for OSCON and HostingCon — continuing to spread the DNS IS SEXY gospel. Beyond the micro-brews and local cuisine (yum, Seafood (OR), Tex Mex and BBQ (TX)), the Dyn teams are excited to learn about the latest and greatest the open source community and hosting industry have to offer.
With this morning’s Rackspace announcement regarding open sourcing its cloud business, signs continue to point to large company commitments in open source, virtualization/cloud adoption, automation and API integration. Rackspace Managing Director, Robert Scoble, shares more here on his blog: http://bit.ly/cj27ZV
Just a few months ago Dyn launched its 2nd generation API for its Dynect Platform (http://dyn.com/pr-dynect-api-v2). Customers use these robust managed DNS APIs (REST or SOAP versions) for automation and integration purposes. Full functionality is available via API and our easy to use user interfaces.
Beyond the sessions and keynotes being attended, meetings with prospects and partners are keeping the teams busy. At Cloudcamp PDX OSCON Cory von Wallenstein, VP, Product Management, will give his infamous lightning talk that is highlighted by an even more infamous DynTini event. Technical teams from Zenoss, Opscode and Dyn will also practice another “Experiment in Uptime” at the OSCON GameDay event.
No matter where you are or what conference you’ll hit up next, make sure to be on the lookout for the Dyn team. Either that, or you can stay tuned in here at http://dyn.com.
