This Thursday, the abi Hub and NH High Tech Council will be hosting the final event of the TechOut NH Startup Competition at Nanocomp Technologies in Merrimark, NH. The event is the culmination of work that started back in May to help fund three new NH startups a year for the next five years.
We did this by bringing together funding from 20 NH angel investors, including our CEO Jeremy Hitchcock, COO Gray Chynoweth, CRO Kyle York, CTO Cory von Wallenstein and I, to raise $100,000 of investment money into the NH ecosystem. Three deserving companies will be awarded cash investments in their companies at this event.
To add to the excitement, third prize will be awarded to one of our six finalists during a live vote-off at the event – meaning you can help someone win an investment of $20,000!
At the same time, the event is a huge fundraiser for the abi Hub and the NH High Tech Council, two organizations we hold close to our hearts. All proceeds from ticket sales will be used to help fund future activities of these organizations, such as the Founder’s Series by abi and the Software Forum by NHHTC – which is why I hope you will pitch in and attend!
