Internet performance leader acquires 9th company since 2010
Manchester, NH (March 26, 2014) – Dyn, the worldwide leader in Internet performance solutions, announced today they have acquired Nettica, a US-based managed DNS provider.
Nettica’s more than 9,000 clients, including Evernote, the web’s largest list management solution, will now have access to Dyn’s advanced features and 18 global data centers. Dyn is the number one provider of managed DNS services among Top 1000 visited websites, according to Datanyze and Alexa.
Founder and longtime Microsoft developer Alan Graham, along with other members of the Nettica team, will transition to Dyn’s corporate headquarters in Manchester, N.H. — a major talent addition for Dyn.

Nettica offers a suite of services including primary and secondary DNS service features. Additionally, they offer email services and domain registration.

This is the fourth managed DNS company and the ninth company overall that Dyn has acquired in the past four years. In 2010, Dyn purchased EveryDNS and EditDNS in separate transactions. In 2012, Dyn acquired TZO, a Massachusetts-based company that, like Dyn, focused on both self-service and enterprise customers.
Additionally, Dyn acquired SendLabs in 2010, which allowed the company to begin offering message management services, and the talent of the SEO/SEM and ecommerce development arm of Incutio LTD in 2012. In 2013, Dyn purchased Verelo, a website monitoring startup, Trendslide, a mobile dashboard app and ReadyStatus, a status management service — all to help supplement the company’s transition into an Internet performance solutions provider.
