Internet Performance Delivered right to your inbox

Bracketology, Internet Performance, Slam Dunks & Dyn

Dyn is blessed with performance — Internet performance to be specific. Working to be the best at it doesn’t leave much time to work on our free throws or box and one defense. So while we have some of the brightest minds in technology, we don’t have a single person in our entire office who can slam dunk.

Why, you ask, are we talking so much about basketball? Because it is March and that means everyone is going mad for college hoops. Here are two slam dunk basketball-related events that we’re involved with this week.

Expect more basketball puns.

Boston Startup Tournament Madness

Dyn March Madness

Our friends at BostInno are taking bracketology to a new level, pitting the top 64 tech companies in thegreater Boston area against each other to find out who people think will be the most profitable company in five years. Help us out by viewing the brackets and voting for us in the first round!

There are some great names on the list like Wayfair, HubSpot, RunKeeper and, of course, us. We’re confident we will be this year’s Cinderella. Having a NH-based company be the best tech company in Boston would be like Gonzaga winning it all!

Be sure to vote for us and make Dyn the only tournament winners ever who can’t dunk!

Dyn Event — March Madness in Boston!

Of course, one of the reasons we geek out over college basketball is that performance is the ultimate game changer. The team that hoists the championship trophy is the one that cracks the code and figures out how to perform to their maximum potential. That’s what we do for our customers every day.

So this Thursday at The Greatest Bar in Boston from 4-7 PM, we will be discussing basketball, Internet performance, and everything in between. There are some great prizes up for grabs that day like a GoPro Hero 3, Playstation 4 with NBA Live ‘14, and free beer for a year! Whoever fills out the most accurate Final Four bracket wins two tickets to any Boston sporting event of their choosing as well.

So come talk zone defense or DNS zones with Dyn’s Chief Technologist Cory von Wallenstein (our version of Dick Vitale) and other Dyners in the Dirty Water Room and enjoy free drinks, appetizers, and full coverage of the first round of the NCAA Tourney! We’re expecting a big crowd, so please RSVP.

Don’t worry though — we will drink responsibly. No chance of a double dribble here.
