8 Websites to Help Make 2015 Awesome

It’s been a few weeks since the New Year, which means that you are possibly working hard on keeping those brand new resolutions. This year, rather than make specific resolutions, I have just resolved to have an awesome year. Luckily for me, the Internet has an abundance of awesomeness that is helping me with this goal.

If you too would like to have an awesome 2015, take a look at these 8 websites that can help you achieve the best year ever.

Save More

Coupon Mom: You don’t have to be a mom to benefit from Coupon Mom. Coupon Mom has a large database of printable coupons for every day items at grocery stores, drug stores, and restaurants. If you want to become an extreme couponer, there’s even a “How to Coupon” guide.

Mint.com: Sometimes budgeting can get overwhelming. With Mint.com, you can monitor all of your expenses, work towards paying off loans, and see a breakdown of what you’re spending the most on each month.

Further Your Career

Coursera: Furthering your education is invaluable in the workforce, but going back to school can be quite expensive (remember, we just went over how to save money, let’s try to not add to our expenses). With Coursera, you can take online courses for free from top universities. Learn a new programming language, get the basics on finance, or even learn how to create better arguments.

Basecamp: Basecamp makes project management easy so that you don’t lose track of all that you have to do. You can create a team and collaborate with you coworkers right within the app—much better than dealing with a never-ending email thread.

Ride in Style

Autoplicity.com: If you have the skills to do your own car maintenance, Autoplicity.com should be your new favorite website. Easily search for parts based on your car’s model & make and get them shipped to your door quickly (with a best-price guarantee).

Uber: Okay, so this is more of an app than a website, but Uber does have a website, so the logic still holds true. No need to search for a cab company in your area—with Uber, you just request a ride through the app and a driver is on their way within minutes. Also, there’s no need to deal with exchanging money for fares. All payment goes directly through the app.

Get In Shape

MapMyFitness: It wouldn’t be a new year without resolving to get into better shape, right? With MapMyFitness (MapMyRun, MapMyRide, MapMyWalk, MapMyHike), you can keep yourself accountable by tracking all of your activities.

MyFitnessPal: After you record your workouts with MapMyFitness, you can use MyFitnessPal to keep track of how many calories you burned (and, most importantly, how many you can eat). MyFitnessPal integrates with multiple fitness devices and apps (including MapMyFitness) so it’s a great central hub for all of your get-in-shape activities.

And there you have it! Hope the start of your new year has been awesome!
